This course uses a hands-on, workshop approach to build and strengthen foundational skills in reading and writing. The curriculum focuses on mastering the fundamentals of grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure, which students will immediately apply to their own compositions. Through a process-oriented model of drafting, revising, and peer conferencing, students will work to develop greater fluency, clarity, and confidence.
